About DeepARTment

Welcome to DeepARTment, a non-profit dedicated to building bridges between creators of diverse nationalities in Southern California. We focus on helping artists from Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, and beyond see each other not as strangers or adversaries, but as collaborators in creativity. We understand that the journey from government oppression to a free-thinking society can be isolating, especially when old resentments and cultural barriers come into play.
Our mission is to foster an environment where these barriers dissolve, and where artists can appreciate each other’s stories and talents. We believe that when people create together, it becomes difficult to see one another as enemies. Instead, they become partners in a shared vision.
At DeepARTment, we’re here to support those who need a hand in keeping their creativity alive despite the challenges of starting over. We believe that creativity is what makes life flourish—it’s humanity’s answer to conflict.

If you’re passionate about the arts — visual, performing, or musical — you’re invited to join our projects. And if you’re inspired to support creativity through financial contributions, we’d love for you to be part of our community too.

Vita Solzberg

Projects, Funds

Vita Solzberg is an art activist, promoter, and artist, who creates her signature art form called Fractus. Her academic journey culminated in a degree in the History and Theory of Fine Arts in 1992 in Belarus—a nation then still tied to Soviet Union legacies. She resisted the pressure to critique artists for ideological purposes when independent galleries supporting artists were not yet established. Instead, she focused on independent journalism, which flourished during Glasnost and Perestroika. Vita excelled in TV news reportage, documentaries, feature films, and unscripted reality before returning to her lifelong dream of running her own art gallery and promoting creativity. Vitart.Gallery came to fruition after Vita Solzberg settled in Los Angeles in 2019.

Eva Love

Talents

Eva Love graduated from the State University in Vitebsk, Belarus, with a degree in Fine Arts. She continued her development at the Higher School of Management and at the School of National Leaders "Revival DJs" led by the renowned Belarusian opposition figure Pavel Sevyarynets. Eva's most remarkable talent is her ability to connect with people on a mental-creative level. She came to the U.S. in 2022 after facing increasing repression in her homeland, Belarus, due to the rise of totalitarianism and military tension. Among her significant projects are the youth educational center "Fialta" and a series of educational workshops on art therapy, including "Controlling Fear," "Faith and Doubt," "Emotion and Reason," and "Realizing Potential." Her programs are equally popular with adults and with children. Eva is the driving force behind the semiannual Creators United - Solstice Meet-Ups, which have become a cornerstone program of DeepARTment.
